Bright is a Gullah-descended Mystic from Severn, Maryland. Raised in the faith and tradition of the Black church, Bright discovered a passion for spirituality and service at an early age.

They hold a BA in Spiritual Formation from Lancaster Bible College (2015) as well as a Masters of Divinity from Lancaster Theological Seminary (2020). Currently, Bright serves as a DEI professional in higher education.

As a poet and theologian, Bright’s writing ventures to examine and explore the nature and relationship between the spiritual journey and the human condition.

Bright published their first poetic collection on VibeBright.net in 2017. After a mild hiatus, Bright returns to share new collections of poems and writings.
